2nd in Times Good University Guide 2012

Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Exeter has been ranked 2nd (out of 75 institutions) for Sports Science in the 2012 Times Good University Guide.

This represents an increase of one place on our 2011 position and maintains a top three position for the 4th year running. This follows hot on the heels of another 2nd place position in the Guardian University Guide 2012.

Professor Andy Jones who is the head of discipline said “These latest results confirm and consolidate our position as one of the leading Sport and Exercise Science departments in the UK and are testament to the talents and hard work of all our staff and students. I am certain that we can look forward to even greater success as we seek to further enhance both our teaching and research performance”.

Overall the University of Exeter has risen to 10th in 2012 Times Good University Guide in the UK.
