99% for student satisfaction
Sport and Health Sciences has enjoyed recent success in the 2015 National Student Survey being ranked 2nd in the sector with 99% for overall student satisfaction.
The Discipline also ranked in the top 10 in five out of seven categories in the NSS, achieving a sector leading 91% for teaching quality and 93% for student experience. The National Student Survey asks final year students in the UK to rate their university experience in a range of areas.
Associate Professor Jo Bowtell, Head of Sport & Health Sciences, commented “Once again we are delighted in achieving such an high rating in the NSS. It shows that our students are some of the most satisfied in the country and is a fitting reward to all the hard work and care our staff give towards the students studying with us. A great achievement for all of us”.
