Profile

Dr Genevieve Williams' research interest lie in the coordination and control of human movement. Particularly, in how the stability and adaptability of the dynamics of movement change as a function of skill level, perturbation, ageing or pathology. 

Dr Williams is part of the Human Movement Science group, and the Exeter Biomechanics Research Team (ExBiRT). She teaches undergraduate and post-graduate biomechanics in Sport and Health Sciences.

PhD, BSc (Hons)

Career

Dr Williams completed her PhD thesis at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She held Post-Doctoral roles in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts, and The Penn State University. After Lecturing at Anglia Ruskin University, she joined the University of Exeter in 2017.
