Overview

Andy joined the University of Exeter Medical School as Associate Lecturer in January 2022. He previously completed his PhD in the Nutritional Physiology Research Group (Sports & Health Science, University of Exeter) in 2021.

He teaches across the Medical School in Medical Science and Medicine on modules including Translational Medical Science, Disease Diagnostics & Therapeutics, and Biomedical Special Study Units.

His research interests are predominantly centered around how nutritional interventions can modulate the adaptive nature of skeletal muscle for improved health and performance.
