A detailed understanding of how our muscles metabolise nutrients during various type of exercise provides insight in to how fat, carbohydrate, and protein metabolism can be manipulated to improve exercise performance.

Current research is utilising such scientific evidence to develop L-carnitine, protein and polyphenols, caffeine, ß-alanine, polyphenols, ketone ester, mycoprotein, and nucleotides.
