Overview

I am an exercise physiologist interested in health research including inflammation, immunology, ageing and disease, specifically how lifestyle including exercise and nutritional interventions can positively influence health. 

Qualifications

Sports and Exercise Science BSc (Loughborough University), Exercise Physiology MSc (Loughborough University), PhD 'Investigating lifestyle and aspects of immunity among healthy women, patients undergoing neoadjuvant therapy for breast cancer and survivors of the disease' (University of Bath), AFHEA

Career

I have previously undertaken a 12-month Research Assistant post at Loughborough University investigating the effect of probiotic supplementation on immune function. Prior to my current role I was a Scientific Officer for Army Recruiting and Initial Training Command in the Ministry of Defence.
