Research interests

My research interests are principally in the field of physical education initial teacher education, with a particular focus on students learning to teach through peer collaboration.

Research projects

2012-2013 (DfE) How schools provide creative futures for young people with SEN/D particularly in relation to physical education and school sport. With Anna Craft, Alison Black, Rebecca Costello and Margo Greenwood; University of Exeter). This was a Department for Education-funded National Project (£35,000) which explored SEND (special educational needs & disability) children’s participation, progression and competition in physical education and school sport in mainstream secondary and special schools in England.
