ISMRM Award for PhD student

PhD student Rebecca Willcocks has been awarded a New Entrant Stipend from the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine to fund her attendance at the annual meeting in Stockholm in May 2010.

This award goes to members of ISMRM who are attending their first annual meeting. Attending the meeting will allow Rebecca to learn about emerging magnetic resonance research. This will support her PhD research, which uses magnetic resonance spectroscopy to examine fatigue and metabolic responses to exercise in children, adolescents and adults.
