Continued success for Sport and Health Science at the University of Exeter

Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Exeter has sustained its 2nd place ranking in The Guardian University Guide 2013 subject league table. It ranks in the top 10 in five categories including those related to employability, student satisfaction and teaching effectiveness.

The result follows year-on-year exemplary performance of Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Exeter in league tables. Currently ranked 1st in the latest Sunday Times University Guide (2012) and 2nd in the latest Times Good University Guide (2012), the discipline has an impressive track record.

Professor Andy Jones, Head of Sport and Health Sciences, welcomed this excellent result saying “it reflects the hard work and commitment of staff within the discipline to create an outstanding educational experience. Together with our consistently strong performance in the National Student Survey and the last Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008), it demonstrates that we are at the top of the field for teaching and research in Sport and Health Sciences”.
